Snap-on in Elkmont, Alabama seeks a Machine Operator to set up and run manual and CNC machines, reading blueprints and ensuring parts meet specifications. The role requires steady attention to detail, good math, and the ability to work with others in a factory setting.

Overtime and weekend work may be required; weekly pay is provided. You will operate and tend machines, inspect finished parts, document results, and support production goals while maintaining safety and organization on the shop

Formación

• High School diploma or GED and 1–3 years manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of high-speed machinery and measurement tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills and ability to work from drawings and specs.
• Good communication and ability to work independently or in a team; follow safety rules.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate manual and CNC machines.
• Read blueprints and determine machine setup and operation sequence.
• Inspect parts with gauges and measurements for conformance.
• Maintain productivity, quality and safety; complete paperwork.
• Prepare parts for shipment and assist with housekeeping.
