Qualifications

• CNC machinist role requiring setup and operation of CNC equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T tolerances.
• Set up tooling, load/run programs, and adjust offsets as needed.
• Experience with large-format CNC machines or heavy industrial machining is valued.
• Vertical Turret Lathe (VTL) experience is highly preferred.
• Willingness to work night shifts and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery to machine/ refurbish heavy steel mill components to print specs.
• Set up tooling, load and run programs, monitor cuts, adjust feed/speed, inspect parts.
• Catch potential issues and communicate with programming team to minimize scrap.
