Job summary

Htprof is seeking a CNC Machinist (Large-Parts) for a full-time, on-site role in Farmington, CT. The position requires setting up and operating CNC machining centers and performing inline adjustments to meet blueprint specifications.

The candidate should have 2-3 years of CNC Milling, Lathe/Turning, and CNC Swiss experience, plus a High School diploma or GED. Must lift up to 70 lbs and operate overhead cranes as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Machining Centers.

• Select tools, set feeds and speeds, and inspect parts with precision tools.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a clean shop floor.
• Re-order tools as needed and ensure safety standards are followed.

Our client is looking for a responsible CNC Machinist (large parts). This a contract to permanent / direct placement position with our key manufacturing client. To be considered for this role, you will need a High School diploma or equivalentas well as 2-3 years of experience with CNC Lathe / Turning, CNC Swiss.

Set up and operate CNC Machining Centers. Performs Machine Adjustments and Troubleshoots Controllers / Machines / Processes. Works from Blueprint Requirements. Selects Tools, Sets Feeds and Speeds. Perform Inspection of Machined Parts using Precision Hand Tools. Able to work Independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. Operates Overhead Cranes for Large-Part Manufacturing. Maintains a clean work environment and Shop Floor (Tools, Equipment, Machines, etc.) Re-orders Tools as needed. Requirements 2-3 Years of Experience with CNC Milling, CNC Lathe / Turning, CNC Swiss High School Diploma OR GED OR Vocational School Training Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
