Job summary

Prince Industries in Pepperell, MA is seeking a CNC Machinist II for 2nd shift to operate CNC machinery and manufacture metal and non-metal parts under minimal supervision.

You will read blueprints, set up tooling, measure with precision, and ensure quality while maintaining safety and ISO standards. This role requires night shift readiness and teamwork in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNC certification preferred.
• 1 year of CNC machining experience.
• Ability to understand basic mechanical and manufacturing techniques.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
• Reads and interprets blueprints
• Loads and unloads materials safely
• Proficient in the use of measuring instruments
• Uses gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
• Operates CNC lathes and mills with minimal supervision; self-sufficient
• Familiar with MAZAK, HAAS, Fanuc, and Mori Controls
• Follows M and G codes and basic tool wear offsets
• Maintains clean and organized machine shop work environment
• Supports process improvement and adheres to ISO requirements
