Metalex Manufacturing is seeking a Precision, High-Tech CNC Machinist for our night shift. The role involves turning and milling challenging parts from exotic, high-temp alloys using state-of-the-art equipment. Expect 3:30 pm–1:30 am, Monday–Friday, with a 10% pay differential for night shift.

You will read drawings, follow routers, perform machine set ups, and conduct in-process inspections to ensure top-quality parts. We value teamwork, continuous improvement, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret drawings and part specifications.
• Ability to comprehend and follow routers detailing part requirements.
• Capable of performing machine set ups.
• Proficient with measuring instruments and test equipment.
• Understand quality requirements and perform in-process inspections.
• Understanding of basic shop floor mathematics.
• Understanding of CNC programming.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC turning and milling on high-tech equipment.
• Perform in-process inspections and document results.
• Follow routers and ensure parts meet specifications.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure high-quality output.
• Support overtime and cross-training to meet production needs.
