Job summary

Specialty Tooling Systems, Inc. (STS) is seeking a CNC Machinist for the night shift to operate the Okuma Bridge Mill and program and run CNC jobs. The ideal candidate has experience with 5-axis milling and various mills (Mazak, YCM, Hurco or Okuma).

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and ability to read and speak English. Work hours are 4 p.m. – 2:30 a.m. or 5 p.m. – 5:30 a.m., Monday–Friday, with full-time status and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with 5-axis milling.
• Experience with Mazak, YCM, Hurco, or Okuma Mills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Download programs and MDI as needed.
• Program, set up, and operate CNC machine.
• Setup and machine to the proper programs and tolerances.
• Recheck setups, change cutters and inserts, and adjust as needed.
• Maintain tools and calibration; keep work area clean.
• Follow all safety rules and report unsafe conditions.
• Regular attendance on scheduled shifts.
