Odessa Separator Inc (OSI) is seeking a CNC Machinist for the night shift in Odessa, TX. You will set up, program, operate, and maintain CNC machines to manufacture precision components that meet engineering specs and quality standards.

We require a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of CNC machining experience or a technical machining program. Preferred: G-code/CAM programming, oilfield/industrial component experience, lean manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years CNC machining experience or completion of a technical machining program.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges).
• Preferred: G-code or CAM programming and lean manufacturing knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills and other equipment to make precision components.
• Read blueprints, drawings, work orders and specs to ensure requirements.
• Install tooling, fixtures and offsets for production runs.
• Program, edit and adjust machines to optimize operations.
• Inspect finished parts with precision instruments for spec compliance.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust for quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and lubrication.
• Troubleshoot issues and report problems to supervision or maintenance.
• Maintain production, quality and inspection records accurately.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean, organized workspace.
• Participate in continuous improvement to boost safety and quality.
