Odessa Separator Inc. (OSI) is seeking a CNC Machinist for night shift in Odessa, TX. The role involves setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to manufacture precision components that meet engineering specifications and quality standards.

The Night Shift Schedule is 4:00 pm to 4:30 am, Monday through Sunday, with a salary range of $22.00 to $36.00 hourly. OSI offers growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three (3) years of CNC machining experience or completion of a technical machining program.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.
• Preferred: experience programming CNC machines using G-code or CAM software.
• Preferred: experience machining oilfield or industrial components.
• Preferred: Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and other machining equipment to manufacture precision components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and technical specifications.
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets for production runs.
• Perform machine programming, editing, and adjustments as required to optimize machining operations.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and report equipment problems to supervision or maintenance personnel.
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and inspection records.
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing policies.
