Standard Locknut LLC in Westfield, Indiana, is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator for the night shift. You will set up, program, and run CNC lathes, ensuring parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in decimals, fractions, geometry and basic math.
• Experience using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong reading, writing and English language skills.
• Prior experience with CNC programming and operating (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate CNC and auxiliary equipment to produce high-quality parts at acceptable productivity.
• Performs minor edits to CNC programs for efficiency and accuracy.
• Reads blueprints, technical drawings, and job instructions to meet specifications.
• Programs mills and lathes by entering precise instructions, including offsets and tool data.
• Monitors and maintains specifications during operations (drilling, turning, finishing).
• Troubleshoots process malfunctions and adjusts or reprograms as needed.
• Maintains and sharpens tools; replaces worn components to uphold quality.
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives and team problem-solving efforts.
• Assists with special projects, such as prototype development or process optimization.
• Keeps work area and equipment clean and safe per SOPs and POWER values.
