Job summary

Accelera in Wauconda, IL is seeking a dedicated CNC Lathe Operator for 3rd shift. Training will be on 1st shift (6:30am–4pm) before transitioning to the permanent 3rd shift (10:30pm–7am). You will work with FANUC controls, operate a belt-driven spindle with a bar feeder, and prepare raw materials for the feeder.

You will inspect parts for quality, perform CNC offsets, and contribute to high-speed production efficiency while supporting spindle maintenance and changeovers.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of direct CNC lathe experience.
• FANUC controls experience.
• Ability to perform CNC offsets.
• GNM code familiarity preferred.
• Experience with multi-spindle equipment.
• Thrive in high-speed production environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate a belt-driven spindle with a bar feeder.
• Prepare raw materials for the feeder.
• Move scrap bins, gaylords and chip bins as part of daily tasks.
