Job summary

Donson Machine Company in Alsip, IL is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to work on 3-axis to 5-axis equipment including lathes and mills. You will set up machines, load programs, and run production while inspecting parts to ensure tight tolerances are met.

The role offers a night shift (4:30PM–3:00AM, Mon–Thu) with a 10% premium and a 3-day weekend, reflecting a fast-paced, high-mix medical device manufacturing environment focused on quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC setup or operation experience on lathes or mills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints with GD&T features.
• Experience manipulating G-Code and adjusting offsets.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking most of the day.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines per department procedures.
• Run production and inspect parts for critical dimensions.
• Meet pre-determined efficiency goals and contribute to process improvements.
