Job summary

Accelera in Addison, IL seeks a skilled CNC Programmer for a direct hire 1st shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM) with overtime. You will generate and update CNC programs, defining setup, fixture, and tooling to meet quality standards.

ITAR facility; background check and drug screening required. Role emphasizes collaborating with tooling vendors, QA, and production to optimize machining and document controls, using Mastercam, Vericut, and SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• 10+ years in CNC programming.
• At least 5 years hands-on CNC machining.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Mastercam 2024–2025.
• Experience with Vericut and SolidWorks.
• Able to read blueprints and GD&T per ASME Y14.5-2009.
• Know how to meet technical specs for quality.
• Advanced knowledge of Mazak, Haas, or Heidenhain controls.
• Improve CNC programs and fixtures to reduce machining time.

Responsibilities

• Foster collaborative environment with colleagues.
• Engage tooling vendors for efficiency and modernization.
• Create and execute testing programs for continuous improvement.
• Use software tools to manage machine programming and documentation.
• Distribute programs to production floor per internal protocols.
