Job summary

Martinrea is seeking an experienced Laser Operator (3rd Shift) to run CNC laser equipment and ensure production targets are met. The role requires independent work, adherence to safety protocols, and strong mechanical and electrical aptitude in a high-demand plant environment.

The operator will set up machines, monitor performance, and complete necessary logs while maintaining quality and safety standards throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical procedures understanding.
• Knowledge of lockout procedures and safety.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, schematics.
• Experience with laser equipment and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC laser equipment safely.
• Ensure machine setup meets production and quality goals.
• Train and monitor operators in safe equipment use.
• Maintain logs and paperwork before shift end.
• Follow safety guidelines and lockout procedures at all times.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and report issues promptly.
• Be on call for emergencies and support shift needs.
• Adhere to company policies including Health & Safety.
