Job summary

Amentum in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a Facilities Maintenance Assistant II for night shift. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, including CNC machines, robotics, conveyors, and coolant systems. The role supports a 24/7 operation and may involve overtime and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
• 1–3 years of work experience in general maintenance repair in an industrial environment or equivalent.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on process/production equipment as scheduled in CMMS.
• Respond to work orders and provide basic troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
• Assist with safety compliance and proper PPE use.
• Coordinate with other technicians and management to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• May train other technicians and provide guidance as needed.
