Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Nursing Assistant certification required.
• Current registration with North Carolina Division of Facility Services.

Responsibilities

• Assists in admission of patients and unit orientation.
• Responds to patient needs and reports changes.
• Carries out delegated nursing tasks in the plan of care.
• Maintains patient safety and proper use of equipment.
• Access to medication/supply room for patient care items.
• Keeps patient environment clean and well-stocked.
• Supports cost containment and accurate charging for patient services.
• Participates in educational and Performance Improvement activities.
• Performs waived testing per unit competency.
• Supports patient throughput and patient satisfaction initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
