Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro, KY, seeks a weekend nurse aide to provide direct patient care under RN supervision in the Behavioral Health Unit. You will greet patients, orient them to the unit, and support the care team to ensure a safe, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include updating the EMR, participating in rounds, monitoring telemetry, assisting with transports and discharge steps, and helping with patient meals and comfort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• SRNA certification in Kentucky is required upon hire.
• BLS healthcare provider certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Greet and orient new patients to the hospital environment and unit routines.
• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a nurse.
• Update patient progress and care plans in the EMR and care boards.
• Assist with telemetry monitoring and alarm management as assigned.
• Assist with patient transports, admissions, and discharge processes.
• Support safety, dietary, and medication handling in accordance with policy.
