Job summary

HSHS St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to join the Medical unit.

This 36 hours/week role includes a night shift every other weekend, offering an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge in a fast-paced setting. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1 year nursing assistant or PCT experience (or 6 months with certification), and BLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 1 year nursing assistant or Patient Care Assistant experience; or 6 months nursing assistant or Patient Care Assistant experience with certification.
• CNA or PCT certification in state of practice required with 6 months experience; certification not required for >1 year experience.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Nursing support on the Medical/Surgical unit.
