Job summary

Asante seeks a Central Transportation Department CNA to expeditiously transfer patients across the hospital with care, safety, and efficiency. You will coordinate with care teams to ensure comfortable transport and act as an advocate for patient safety throughout the system.

The role requires CNA certification by the Oregon State Board of Nursing and BLS certification, with a focus on strong communication and teamwork in a dynamic hospital setting on the 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• CNA certification by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) is required at start.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required at start.

Responsibilities

• Join the patient care team and work closely with CNAs and RNs.
• Promote patient safety and comfort while supporting patient satisfaction.
• Apply advanced responsive observations in care practices.
• Document patient/family responses and teaching effectiveness per standards.
• Maintain clear communication between staff, patients, and families.
• Support Asante’s Vision and Values in daily work.
