Job summary

ST. CHARLES HEALTH SYSTEM in Bend, Oregon is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for full-time night shifts.

The CNA will provide patient- and family-centered care across units, following hospital policies and the Oregon State Board of Nursing guidelines. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, measuring vital signs, documenting in the EHR, and supporting infection control and safety processes.

Qualifications

• Current CNA license for Oregon.
• Ability to work nights in a hospital setting.
• Experience assisting patients with daily living activities (ADLs).

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs including bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and mobility.
• Promptly respond to call lights and assist or notify staff as needed.
• Accurately measure and record vital signs and report abnormalities.
• Document care provided in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Support patient safety and fall prevention during movement and care.
