Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, maintaining safety, and reporting findings in the EMR.

Responsibilities cover direct care, equipment handling, documentation, infection control, and precepting new assistants as needed, with a focus on patient comfort and safety on night shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a nursing assistant training program required.
• Current CNA certification required.

• Report vital signs and changes in patient condition.
• Maintain clean, safe environment and assist with ADLs.
