Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring a CNA to provide basic, patient-focused care under RN supervision in a hospital setting. You will perform delegated tasks to support patient care while ensuring dignity and respect for patients and families.

The role requires CNA certification, BLS, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Evening/night shifts are available, with a 36-hour weekly schedule and 7p–7a shifts.

Qualifications

• CNA - Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated with the State Registry.
• CPR - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association within 45 days.
• No experience required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the shift.
• Ability to lift to 35 pounds; use patient lifts with assistive equipment when needed.
