North Carolina Specialty Hospital in Durham, NC seeks a Night Shift Certified Nursing Assistant to join the inpatient unit. Under RN supervision, you will assist patients with daily living activities, maintain patient safety, and support physicians during procedures.
You will also handle clerical tasks to help unload workload, work in a fast-paced environment, and contribute to a caring, compliant patient experience. CNA certification and BLS are required; hospital experience preferred.

Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the registered nurse, the NA will assist patients across the age continuum (4 weeks to geriatric) with activities of daily living, providing basic nursing care to patients and assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. The NA must demonstrate the ability to provide clerical support and receptionist duties to enhance delivery of patient care. The NA must demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and in situations that demand patience, tact, stamina and endurance. The primary objective of this position is to assure the delivery of comprehensive, safe, effective, cost effective and appropriate nursing care for patients across the age continuum in accordance with established hospital policy, nursing practice standards. The NA must demonstrate the ability to assist physicians in procedures.
