Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a Nurse Aide I to join the 35409 Enterprise Corporate - Virtual Observation unit. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, night shift, providing activities of daily living support, vital signs, hygiene, and basic clinical tasks such as 12-lead ECGs and routine venipuncture under supervision.

You will maintain clean patient rooms, assist with clerical duties, and help manage supplies, with BLS and Nurse Aide I registry required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required for new hires.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living for patients.
• Help with personal hygiene and feeding.
• Take vital signs and height/weight measurements.
• Feed and ambulate patients according to procedures.
• Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms.
• Observe and report changes in patient conditions.
• Orient patients/families to unit and teach safety measures.
• Assist with clerical work and data entry.
• Maintain stock supply items in inventory.
• Perform 12-lead ECGs and routine venipuncture.
