Job summary

Rochester Regional Health’s DeMay Living Center in Newark, NY is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time night shift. The role offers 24 hours per week with nights from 10p-6a, Monday to Friday with every other weekend, and a signing bonus up to $2,250.

You’ll provide high-quality patient care in collaboration with the nursing team. Experience in long-term care and a strong commitment to patient comfort are valued.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills highly desired.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Reads and follows the resident’s care card for daily personal care needs and therapies.
• Gives personal care: bathing, toileting, feeding, transferring and ambulating.
• Assists residents with personal services including laundry and room upkeep.
• May assist relatives and visitors by directing questions to the supervising nurse.
• Encourages residents with self-help measures in activities of daily living.
