Job summary

Rochester Regional Health’s DeMay Living Center in Newark, NY is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for the long-term care unit. You will assist residents with daily activities, support the nursing team, and help maintain a safe environment during night shifts.

The role requires NY CNA certification, 18+ eligibility, and a high school diploma or equivalent; a sign-on bonus up to $4,500 is offered and night/weekend shifts are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• Currently certified in New York State as a CNA.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide and/or assist residents with activities per care plan.
• Transport residents to activities and provide emotional support.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and report changes.
• Communicate with families and document resident status to the team.
