Responsibilities

• Reads and follows the resident’s care card for daily personal care needs and treatments.
• Gives personal care to residents: bathing, toileting, feeding, transferring, and ambulating.
• Encourages residents with self-help measures in activities of daily living.
• Observes and reports changes in residents’ condition to the nurse.
