Job summary

Barren County Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking dedicated CNAs for the night shift. Join a compassionate team providing care, comfort, and dignity to residents in a supportive environment.

You will assist with bathing, feeding, dressing, ambulation, vital signs, and mobility while adhering to safety practices and reporting changes to nursing staff. A current state CNA certification is required; one year of experience preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• One year of CNA experience preferred but not required.
• Must possess and maintain a current state CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Take and record patient vital signs, assist with lifting, moving and transporting residents using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager; ask clarifying questions as needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.
