Spring View Nursing and Rehab in Kentucky is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our clinical team. The CNA will assist residents with daily activities and help maintain a safe, respectful environment.

The role requires active CNA certification and at least one year in long-term care; we offer full-time hours, night shifts on weekdays, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care setting is highly preferred.
• Must possess and maintain an active certification as a CNA.

Responsabilités

• Attend to residents’ needs including bathing, feeding, dressing and ambulating.
• Take and record patient vital signs and assist with lifting and moving residents using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.

CNAs are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.

• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving, and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.

• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.

• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.

• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.

• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care setting is highly preferred.

• Must possess and maintain an active certification as a CNA.
