Job summary

Cantata Adult Life Services in Brookfield, IL is seeking a Night Shift CNA to provide compassionate, non-medical care for residents, supporting activities of daily living and ensuring a safe, clean environment on a 10-acre campus.

The role requires adherence to service plans, strong communication, CPR, and the ability to work evenings/nights, weekends, and holidays as needed; prior CNA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior CNA experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Assists new residents in orientation to assigned apartments and common areas.
• Provides support to residents to remain independent.
• Assists with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
• Assists with wheelchair transportation around campus.
• May assist in the dining room with setup, menu selection and tray delivery.
• Maintains daily log of services provided and record keeping.
• Builds positive relationships and responds flexibly to changing situations.
• Follows work assignments and schedules and completes tasks timely.
• Attends in-services and training per Cantata policies.
