Job summary

Cantata Adult Life Services, a nonprofit with over 100 years of experience, is seeking a Part-Time Night RN or LPN to join our Brookfield, Illinois campus. The role supports daily clinical operations, delivers high-quality resident care, and ensures regulatory compliance while coordinating with the interdisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will be an active RN or LPN with strong communication and leadership skills, capable of working nights and weekends, and providing compassionate care

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in Illinois
• Clinical experience in skilled nursing or acute care (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations (IDPH/CMS)
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
• Ability to work harmoniously within a team environment

Responsibilities

• Supports Cantata's mission and values on the unit.
• Provide individualized nursing care per care plans and medication administration.
• Attend to activities of daily living and maintain resident comfort, safety, and privacy.
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes to licensed nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and complete required assessments.
• Ensure infection control and safety practices are followed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
