Emerus is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA/CNA) for the Hempfield AHN Neighborhood Hospital in Greensburg, PA. This PRN/casual night-shift role supports the nursing process under an RN, performing indirect and selected direct care as needed.

The position involves monitoring vitals, assisting with meals and mobility, transporting patients, and performing data entry while maintaining PPE protocols and a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• CNA preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced indirect and selected direct patient care under RN.
• Assist with meals, baths, mobility, and transportation; document care.
• Monitor vitals, glucose checks, EKGs, intake/output; maintain records.
• Maintain equipment, rooms, and perform data entry; unit clerk duties as assigned.
• Ensure safety and adherence to policies within budget and time constraints.
