Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Nursing Assistant, or Nurse Apprentice to join our nursing team in the Nampa Float Pool on a part-time, 12-hour night shift.

You will support clinical staff by performing clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination, and you will perform nursing care services under the direction of a licensed nurse to help meet patient needs and comfort across age groups in an acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Certification as CNA or current Nurse Apprentice application on file with Idaho State Board of Nursing or completion of Trinity Nursing Assistant Program.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required at hire in all units unless already ACLS/PALS as per SAHS crosswalk.
• Six months CNA experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Ability to care for Neonate through Geriatric age groups as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff at the unit level by performing clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination.
• Perform nursing care services and related non-professional tasks under the direction of licensed nurses to care for patients.

Education

Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (Idaho) OR Nurse Apprentice application with Idaho State Board of Nursing OR Trinity Nursing Assistant Program
