Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (PRN) to work the night shift at the Arizona State Veterans' Home in Yuma. The role involves delivering para-professional nursing care on a 12-hour night shift (6:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.).

The position offers a flexible pool schedule, opportunities for professional growth through the Arizona Management System (AMS), and meaningful work supporting veterans. Night differential is paid at 10% of base pay.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of para-professional nursing care principles and techniques.
• Knowledge of state and agency nursing regulations.
• Experience using medical equipment in assigned duties.
• Ability to maintain a safe, clean, therapeutic environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with ADLs and use of medical equipment.
• Monitor residents' physical and mental status and vitals.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and transport as needed.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary staffing and develop patient care plans.
• Follow instructions from medical staff for care and mobility.
• Report incidents and assist in emergency situations.
• Maintain clean and sanitary areas and equipment.
