The CNA helps veterans with daily living activities, supports care plans, and collaborates with nursing staff to maintain resident comfort and safety. This is a flexible pool position requiring reliability and commitment to patient care.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of para-professional nursing care and related practices.
• Clear verbal and written communication with residents and staff.
• Ability to maintain a safe, hygienic environment and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist with ADLs for residents while using various medical equipment.
• Monitor residents' physical and mental status and take vital signs as directed.
• Respond to resident requests and assist with transport to dining or activities.
• Participate in multidisciplinary staffing and trainings to develop care plans.
• Follow instructions of medical staff during care and transport as needed.
• Report concerns promptly to licensed nurses and assist in emergencies.
• Maintain cleanliness of areas and equipment; handle basic procedures as directed.
