Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Nurse Aide to support the Critical Care: Emergency Room. This full-time night position (36 hours/week) includes 7:00 PM–7:00 AM with every other weekend, and comprehensive benefits.

You will assist with direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, perform procedures, maintain a safe environment, and communicate patient information accurately to the team and family members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in nursing process by giving direct care under RN direction.
• Performs procedures under RN direction.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
• Ensures timely communication of patient information.
• Communicates effectively with team, patients and families.
• Demonstrates personal responsibility for performance and development.
• Delivers age-appropriate patient care per guidelines.
