Good Samaritan in Miller, SD is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. The NA will assist with daily living activities, monitor health needs, and support the care team under RN supervision.

The role requires CNA certification, 16+ years of age, and willingness to complete continuing education. Night shifts, full-time schedule, and a team-focused Christian environment are offered.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required; state certification or in process.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, not mandatory.
• Minimum age 16; prior long-term care exposure helpful.
• Requires ongoing continuing education (min 12 hours/yr).
• Possibility of Sanford Category II Driver depending on role and policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, meals, and mobility.
• Record vital signs and report changes to RN.
• Assist with transfers, range of motion, and ROM exercises.
• Support wellness and recreational activities and maintain care documentation.
