Job summary

Good Samaritan in Miller, SD is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. The NA will perform daily living tasks, assist with mobility and transfers, and support basic health care needs under RN supervision.

The role requires CNA certification (or in-process) with 12 hours of CE annually. Beneficial to have a GED; this position offers a strong team environment and opportunities for ongoing training in infection control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; preferred.
• CNA certification required or in process of obtaining.
• Annual continuing education minimum 12 hours; certifications maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing).
• Help with transfers, mobility, range of motion, and safety during care.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and nutrition; support dining experience.
