Job summary

Johnson Regional Medical Center seeks a CNA to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a senior care setting. You will assist with activities of daily living and basic nursing tasks under the supervision of an RN/Charge Nurse.

Responsibilities include patient safety, accurate documentation, and effective communication with the care team to support meals, mobility, hygiene and comfort for non‑acutely ill patients.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant program completed.
• Current BLS certification.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide basic nursing care to non‑acutely ill patients.
• Maintain safe and clean environment under RN supervision.
• Communicate patient needs and changes to the nurse in charge.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges as needed.
• Follow standards of care and confidentiality.
