Job summary

The Neighborhood at Priceville is hiring a Resident Care Associate (CNA) to join our team on a part-time weekend schedule in our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods.

The Resident Care Associate provides hands-on care, supports residents and families per their Personalized Service Plans, and follows wellness and safety standards to promote quality care. Weekend availability and compassionate patient care are essential.

Qualifications

• High School education preferred and may be required by the state.
• Previous experience working with elders or disabled individuals, preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to perform the personal care aspects of the RCA position.
• Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing, preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours, available to our customers at peak service delivery days and times.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the development of Personalized Service Plans and updates; attends service plan review meetings with families as requested
• Follows the hydration schedule established for the residents and maintains it during the shift
• Completes resident meal attendance sheets and ensures dining room or room service is provided for non-dining residents
• Knows and complies with all resident rights
• Initiates, assigns, and assists with activities as appropriate
• Checks assigned residents daily for cleanliness, clothing, continence issues, and changes in condition
• Uses proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions
• Checks on resident rooms daily for cleanliness and neatness; ensures high risk rooms are double checked
• Assists with conducting laundry areas and common spaces; checks for cleanliness and hazardous chemicals
• Completes all ADLs for assigned residents according to PSP
• Responds to security system and resident call bells promptly and resets bells as needed

Education

High School education preferred / may be required by the state
