Prisma Health’s Roger C Peace Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Tech to support patient care under RN supervision. You will assist with daily living, monitor vital signs, document observations, and help maintain a safe, clean environment during night shifts.

No prior experience required; completion of a CNA or patient care tech program is expected. In lieu of formal verification, CN A certification is accepted.

Qualifications

• Education - Completion of a nursing assistant or patient care tech program.
• Experience - No experience required.
• In lieu of school verification of a nursing assistant training course, CN A certification may be accepted at time of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Turns and repositions patients; assists with walking and fall prevention per delegation.
• Provides patient care as delegated by the RN, including simple dressings and perineal care.
• Collects vital signs, input/output, and specimens; documents data and notifies RN of changes.
• Runs errands, answers call lights, and handles phone communications.
• Performs point-of-care testing as trained and reported to RN.
• Provides comfort measures and non-pharmacological pain management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
