Job summary

Prisma Health's Roger C Peace Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant / Patient Care Tech to support patient care under RN direction. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor patients, and maintain a clean environment.

The role requires completion of a CNA or PC tech program; no prior experience is required. Day shift; strong communication and basic computer skills are valued as part of a compassionate health care team.

Qualifications

• Education - Completion of a nursing assistant or patient care tech program.
• Experience - No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and transfers as delegated.
• Provide non-sterile soaks, dressings, and perineal care under RN supervision.
• Collect vitals, intake/output, and basic/sterile specimens; document changes.
• Run errands, answer call lights, and transport patients as needed.
• Perform point-of-care testing as trained and report lab values.
• Provide comfort measures and non-pharmacological pain relief.
• Other duties as assigned.
