Job summary

Prisma Health, Greenville Memorial Hospital, is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care in the Neuroscience Multispecialty department. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patients, and help maintain a safe, clean environment.

Responsibilities include data collection (vital signs, intake and output), basic dressings as delegated, and documenting observations in the medical record. Night shift availability is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing assistant or patient care tech program.
• No prior experience required.
• In lieu of school verification, CNA certification accepted at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, turns, repositioning, and mobility.
• Provide basic nursing tasks and data collection under RN supervision.
• Document vitals, intake/output, and status changes in the medical record.
• Offer comfort measures and non-pharmacological pain management.
• Run errands and respond to call lights and phone.
