Advocate Health Care is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL. The role supports patient care in Med Surg with a night schedule, working 24 hours per week and lifting up to 35 pounds under RN supervision.

Qualifications include HS diploma or GED/HSED, active CNA on state registry, BLS certification within 45 days, and strong communication and organizational skills. No prior experience required and basic computer skills are needed.

Qualificações

• High School Graduate or GED/HSED.
• CNA in good standing as indicated with the State Registry.
• CPR-BLS certification must be obtained within 45 days.
• No experience required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist and reach above shoulders during the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.
• When lifting over 35 pounds or patient unable to assist, use patient handling equipment with at least one other associate.

Responsabilidades

• Provides basic quality patient-focused care in a clinical setting under the daily direction of an RN.
• Performs delegated tasks in patient care to support a holistic environment for patients and families.
