Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Terre Haute, IN, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under licensed supervision. You will support activities of daily living and help maintain a compassionate, safe environment for residents.

The role requires an active CNA certification, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach within a nursing team. We offer 8-hour night shifts (10 PM–6 AM) and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification from the state where the facility operates.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct resident care duties under supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
• Support ADLs and promote a compassionate environment per policy.
• Ambulate, transfer residents and use assistive devices as needed.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and dietary data.
• Turn and position residents; maintain room cleanliness and supplies.
• Respect resident rights and choices within the care setting.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
• Assist in orienting and training new staff as requested.
• Contribute to other special projects as assigned.
