Job summary

Sarah A Todd Memorial Home is seeking a full-time CNA for the night shift (11pm-7am) in Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate holds PA CNA certification and will assist residents with daily nursing care per care plans and supervisor directions.

Responsibilities include ADLs, vital signs, reporting, transfers, turning and positioning, infection control, transporting residents to appointments, and maintaining a safe, dignified environment.

Qualifications

• Provides direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Requires PA CNA certification and ability to follow care plans.
• Ability to monitor and report resident conditions and vital signs.
• Competence in observing and reporting changes in residents’ condition.

Responsibilities

• Performing assigned tasks as instructed by supervisors and as outlined in resident care plans.
• Assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, feeding).
• Participating in shift handoffs and nursing reports.
• Following infection control guidelines and maintaining a clean environment.
• Transporting residents to appointments and activities.
• Positioning and turning residents to prevent pressure injuries.
• Assisting with restorative procedures and range of motion activities.
• Measuring and recording vital signs and ensuring timely response to needs.
• Observing for skin breakdown and reporting changes in residents’ condition.
• Providing compassionate care and upholding residents’ rights.
