Job summary

Northern Lights is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to deliver compassionate, hands‑on care in a skilled nursing community. You’ll assist with daily living activities, monitor safety, and support care plans under licensed nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the state of employment required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Experience in skilled nursing or long‑term care is preferred but not required.
• Person‑centered, respectful and timely care is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating and ambulation.
• Respond promptly to call lights and care needs to ensure safety and comfort.
• Maintain independence and dignity while following individual care plans.
• Measure and document vital signs, intake/output, and weights as directed.
• Observe changes and report to licensed nursing staff.
• Support rehabilitative and restorative activities per care team.
• Maintain clean, organized rooms and spaces; follow infection control procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietary staff, therapists, and leadership.
• Participate in in‑services and team meetings.
