Job summary

SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital - Madison in Wisconsin is seeking a Regular full-time Nurse Aide to join the Cardiovascular Care Unit. The role supports nursing staff by performing a variety of patient care tasks during night shifts.

No prior experience is required. A Wisconsin CNA certification and BLS are preferred. Shifts are 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. or 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with weekend rotation every other weekend, and a 36-hour work week.

Qualifications

• An active Wisconsin CNA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Receives patient care assignments from the RN and performs delegated tasks.
• Collects and documents data for admissions and reassessments.
• Assists with activities of daily living and vital signs.
• Maintains supplies and equipment for patient care needs.
• Performs clerical duties related to patient records as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
