Job summary

Kaweah Health seeks a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Cardiac-2N unit in Visalia, CA. This full-time, night-shift position involves assisting nurses, supporting patient ADLs, and ensuring timely care and documentation in the EMR.

You will operate within a structured hospital environment and contribute to high-quality patient care. The role requires CA CNA certification, HeartSaver AED, and crisis intervention training within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current CA Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• HeartSaver AED certification.
• Kaweah Health approved crisis intervention training within 60 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Reports any variance in patient's condition to licensed staff.
• Answers patient call lights within two minutes as assigned.
• Assists Nursing staff in tasks delegated by RN.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and safety; adheres to infection control policies.
• Assists with activities of daily living and meal support.
• Documents care provided in the EMR promptly.
