Job summary

Kaweah Health in Visalia, CA, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our patient care team. You will support nursing staff, assist with ADLs, monitor patient conditions, and document care in the EMR while maintaining safety and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include responding to call bells promptly, assisting with admissions and discharges, and participating in unit activities across our subacute and transitional care units.

Qualifications

• Current CA Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• HeartSaver AED certification must be current.
• Kaweah Health approved crisis intervention training within 60 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Report any variance in patient condition to licensed staff.
• Answer patient call lights within two minutes as assigned.
• Assist nursing staff with delegated tasks and patient ADLs.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety, document care in EMR.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Provide post-mortem care and assist in transporting the body to the morgue.
