Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital, an extension of Northern Nevada Medical Center, located in Northwest Reno, seeks a dynamic Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time night shift. You will provide safe, competent nursing assistant care and support to the healthcare team, guided by Patient Centered Care principles.

This role requires graduating from an accredited CNA program, a current Nevada CNA license, and a current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited CNA program.
• Current Nevada CNA license.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes bedside shift report in room at the beginning and end of each shift. Provides patient names and care team contacts on the communication board each shift.
• Meets with Supervising RN at the start of each shift to receive task delegation.
• Involves patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population-specific, and diversity needs in care.
